FLINT, MI — Former NBA veteran and Michigan State basketball star Morris Peterson will be making sure Flint families are fed for Thanksgiving.
He will be distributing free meal boxes for the third consecutive year on Tuesday, Nov. 22 at Flint’s St. Mark Missionary Baptist Church, 3020 Dupont St. from 1-4 p.m.
Peterson and his Morris Peterson Jr. Foundation have again partnered with the United Way of Genesee County, Krave Marketing, Food Bank of Eastern Michigan, and Monte & Spencer Investment Team to distribute free food.
Peterson has been active in the community this year with a charity basketball game and a free back-to-school giveaway. He plans to open a new sports bar and grill in the Spring of 2017.
